James “Jamie” Bradford

I was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, SC, and am a former college baseball player and proud Gamecock. Nothing, though, makes me prouder than being Dad to my twin daughters, Rylee and Hanna, dogs, Capers and Dewees, and husband to my wife, Kari. Over the years, I have watched the continued growth throughout the Lowcountry and understand why so many people have chosen to call this part of the country their home. Orton Bellamy

Orton is a Conway native, military veteran and retiree from the S.C. Probation, Parole and Pardon Board. He is an active Horry County council member who enjoys helping his community. 

Bellamy graduated from North Myrtle Beach High School before earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill.; and a master’s degree in public administration from American Military University in Charles Town, W.Va. He served 21 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as chief warrant officer three (CW3), and spent 20 years on the S.C. Probation, Parole and Pardon Board. The Conwayite is a member of Mt.
